Join a workspace from an invitation
This page is for you if someone has invited you to Spotlight by email. A workspace is where an organisation keeps its work in Spotlight: its people, its teams, and the tasks each team's coding agents work on. A team is a group of people inside the workspace who share the same work.
You need a GitHub account whose email address is the one the invitation was sent to. Spotlight signs you in with GitHub.
Accept the invitation
Open the email from Spotlight. Its subject names the person who invited you and the workspace. Click Accept the invitation.
The page that opens says who invited you, to which workspace, and the role and teams you join with. If you are not signed in, click Continue with GitHub and approve the sign-in on GitHub. You come back to the same page.
Click Accept invitation.
Spotlight opens the workspace's inbox. The inbox is where agents ask you questions and where work waits for your answer. The teams you joined are listed in the sidebar.
The link works only for you and for 14 days. Spotlight is served at app.usespotlight.ai. If your organisation runs its own Spotlight, the link points at its address instead, and the steps are the same.
If the page says something else

If you were already in the workspace, accepting keeps your role and adds you to the teams the invitation names.
